Morning Madness

Mornings are not easy at our house.  Even though I don't have to get two kids dressed and out the door, it still doesn't go along smoothly at 309 E Main St.  In a perfect world I get to have two cups of coffee--the world isn't perfect most days!  Friday morning Trey tried to get some photos of me and the boys--you can see for yourself how they turned out.

I wasn't expecting this so soon, but Saturday Drew and Jac were fighting over toys--complete with crying.  Jac wanted to play with Drew's cars, but Drew took them away from Jac leading to tears.  Then Drew wanted to play with Jac's toys, which led to more tears.  It's going to be a long eighteen years!

Four Down-A Lifetime to Go

1 Corinthians 13

1 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Happy Anniversary Trey!  I love you,

Paint and Pictures

Drew is very into having his picture taken--but then he won't cooperate for the actual photo.

This is a Sunday morning pose--no he doesn't have a black eye or make up on!

Jac is more into eating my knee than having his photo taken.

Both boys are looking at me like--are you done already?!?!?!

This is as good as it gets!  And yes, we were late for church:)

Monday afternoon Drew wanted to hold Jac-so I tried to get some photos.  I was impressed that Drew had clothes on--pajamas at 5!  That's his way of stating that he isn't leaving the house.

After the photo shoot we rode around on the golf cart to see the Halloween decorations in town.  Life in the small town!

PS-and here's the paint portion of the post--the exterior color of the house is Colonial Revival Stone by Sherwin Williams!

Jac's Turn

Jac and I were not interested in the football game on television last night--so we took some photos.

Peek-A-Boo

Jac has learned peek-a-boo.  He can be lots of fun when he isn't fussing!  He and Drew love each other so much.  It melts my heart to see them interact and laugh with each other.  I hope they always stay close-even if they're far away from each other.

I love that my iphone takes photos and videos--if I can learn how to get the videos on You Tube I'll share them with you.

Tuesday Tales

Before Jac we had no alarm--some mornings we would sleep until 8:30-9ish.  The good ole days!  Now we sometimes get to wake up multiple times in the evening and we are almost always up by 7--and somehow I still don't get to work by nine.....

Here's Drew enjoying his nutritious breakfast juice box--he'll probably have some fruit snacks or a little Debbie or a Slim Jim to fuel his never ending energy for the day.  Drew's funny-some mornings he waits until Trey and I leave for work--other mornings he wants as much attention as Jac.

Yes, those are the clothes he wore yesterday.  No, I have no clue  how that bruise got on his forehead.

Jac was NOT into having his photo taken this morning.  He looks tired--maybe he should try sleeping in--I wouldn't argue:)

Here's the part of the morning where Drew realized that you could look at yourself on the iphone screen while taking the picture.  Excuse the early morning appearance.

It's raining...I still have no kitchen...there's a ton of dust in my house...and it's only Tuesday. Friday come soon!!!!

Wednesday Morning Fun

I stayed home with the boys this morning so Rebecca could go to an appointment.  This is my failed attempted to get some shots--and yes, Drew has some clothes but his preferred outfit is underwear.
