When Drew came along he just had to adapt to our lives--we had him on the road within less than a month-Mother's Day in Charleston, Memorial Day in Beaufort for a wedding shower for Alan and Jess, June trip to Charleston for a shower for Alan and Jess, July trip to Houston and Crockett to visit the Cockrell's, July wedding of Alan and Jess. Add in multiple trips to Lowe's due to home renovations--the kid was always on the go!
Now with Jac, we stay home. Normally everyone does it the other way around--they stay home with number one and number two goes along for the ride. Whatever works.
Trey and I are taking full advantage of having Rebecca's help. We've taken a few nights to go out to dinner by ourselves--this is normally only something we've done when we've visited family out of town and maybe one or two other nights we've had a babysitter for Drew. It's amazing to eat a meal without holding a child, having someone's fingers in my food, being able to chew, etc, etc, etc.
It's only been three and one half years--but I've finally added pictures to the frames in the house. Before we just had the special photo that came with the frame. I'm still not the best at capturing the moments on film.
