DC
We headed to Washington DC for a long weekend to visit with Trey's cousin Danny and his family. We got to tour the Pentagon (pic-nic-gon per Jac). We took an evening bus tour of the Capital City. It was a relaxing weekend. I would have loved to take in more sights, but with a six year old and three year old there is only so much you can do.

Lake Life
We headed to Lake Wateree in July to spend the weekend with some friends. Six adults, six kids-lots of fun! Everyone got along and had a great time.
Jac didn't want to take pictures at the end.

Vacation's All I Ever Wanted...
I need a vacation from my vacation! This has been a busy summer! We enjoyed a week at Ocean Isle Beach with Trey's sister and her two kids. I'm not the best photographer-obviously! Trey and I rented a kayak one day-the kids had a blast in the canal with the kayak.
Matthew was a good sport and took Jac out on the canal--Jac was along for the ride.
Drew and Matthew had rhythm!
This is as close to cheese as I get from this crazy boy!
Since Jac put forth so much energy he wanted to go "AGAIN"

The Graduate
Drew finished K-5 with a cute little program. He really loved his teacher! We're winding down the summer. We've packed a lot of activities into these months. I'm praying for a good start of First Grade.
